According to WWF, this region boasts 75% of the world's known coral species and supports the livelihoods of over 120 million people.   Because the archipelago spans over 5,000 kilometers from east to west, weather patterns and ocean currents are highly localized. For experienced divers and underwater photographers, seeking the best diving in Indonesia means experiencing the very pulse of the ocean.

July and August are often considered the peak times to sail, but if you are researching the best time to visit Komodo Island, September is arguably the most rewarding season to experience the wild, untouched nature of the region. During this period, you can expand your horizons to explore nearby islands like Sumbawa, granting you a fascinating and unhurried sailing journey through two distinct Indonesian landscapes.

Every year on May 22, the world celebrates the International Day for Biological Diversity. It reminds us that our planet needs many different types of life to stay beautiful and healthy.  As a diver, some places stay in my heart forever. These are places where I do not just watch nature, but I actually feel like I am a part of it. For me, the magic of Komodo diving makes this national park one of those special places.
